Privacy Policy
Last updated: —
This Privacy Policy explains how Pixigen (“Pixigen,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in we collect your email address and name, and (at sign-up) a phone number. Authentication uses a one-time code sent to your email; we do not store your password.
Store and product data
To provide enrichment we process the product content you upload or connect — product images, titles, descriptions, pricing, variants, SKUs, and catalog metadata, including data imported from or exported to connected platforms such as Shopify.
Usage and device data
We collect analytics about how you use the Service — pages viewed, features used, clicks and actions taken, along with device and browser details, IP address, and cookie or similar identifiers. This includes what you enter on our sign-in and store set-up forms, such as an email address you type before finishing sign-in, so we can understand where sign-up gets stuck and follow up. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Service. See Cookies below.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its features.
- To generate enriched attributes, copy, and on-model images from your product content.
- To authenticate you and keep your store data private to you.
- To analyze usage, measure performance, and prevent abuse.
- To communicate with you about the Service.
3. AI processing
Enrichment uses third-party AI models to analyze product images and generate attributes, text, and images. Product content you submit is sent to these providers solely to produce your results. We do not sell your product content, and we do not use it to train third-party models except as needed to deliver the Service.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. This includes a persistent identifier used to understand the visitor journey (including before and after you sign in) so we can improve the product. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect functionality.
Alongside our own measurement, we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, which set their own cookies and receive the pages you view and the actions you take in the Service. We do not send them your email address; at most they receive a one-way hash of it. Google processes that data as described in its own privacy terms. You can opt out across all sites using Google’s browser add-on.
5. How we share information
We share information only as described here:
- Service providers who host our infrastructure, store files, provide AI processing, and provide analytics — bound to protect the data.
- Connected platforms you authorize (e.g. Shopify), to import and export your catalog.
- Legal reasons — to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
6. Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then retain or delete it as required by law and our legitimate business needs.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at support@pixigen.ai.
9. Children
The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
