What is Model Context Protocol (MCP)?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources through a common interface.

Why it matters
An MCP server exposes a set of tools an assistant can call — reading data, starting jobs, fetching results — with authorisation handled by the server. Any MCP-compatible client can then use it.
For e-commerce, MCP lets teams run catalog work from a conversation with an AI assistant instead of switching between dashboards.
How Pixigen helps
Pixigen's MCP server is coming soon: it will let Claude and other MCP clients submit products for enrichment and retrieve the results.
